Hi Dear Nihonbashi Century Toastmasters members and Guests,
 
Our 149th meeting was held with 3 Toastmaster Guests and 5 Non Toastmasters Guests while the typhoon Neogri was approaching to Tokyo.
We felt, saw their and of course our enthusiasm and commitment for team work, self-development and leadership. Superb!
Even the role-takers delayed or absent due to Typhoon, we had members willing to take those vacant roles. Team work really works.
 
All 4 speeches were wonderful, really deserved to start new term of Toastmaster year.
 
'Our body is the gift from our parents, we need to keep it healthy' TM YC told us, suggested to do jogging everyday at our own pace.
TM KY from Tokyo International TMC gave heartfelt praises to TM ES for her great work as Area Governor. He expressed not only his gratitude to her great achievement but his strong will to be an Area Governor next term.
Do you know the concept of 'Band wagon effect' and 'Under Dog Effect'? TM DI gave us the clear understanding of those rhetoric for persuasion. We could apply those concepts immediately to our business occasions.
Last speaker was Japan champion in the international English speech contest, 2014 spring, TM DVG!! He kindly presented 2 speeches for us. One is beautiful & touching story and the other is encouraging.
What the most I was impressed from him was his attitude. Trying so hard to make his speech better even its already a champion speech and humble to accept advices and comments from anyone...really nice.
 
Each evaluators reminded us the evaluation is the most important part of toastmasters activities. With evaluation, we can know what we need to improve, what is our given strength and characters.
Making, Presenting speech is not a lonely work, its team work, as our new President DA told us. We can learn together, grow together from here.

今回のレポートは、6/26の例会は、大切な例会の一つでした。
６月に任期を終える役員にとっては、最後の例会。
Ｋ会長による「真実の瞬間」というクラブ会員に向けた事前のアンケートを元に、
１年間クラブが会員にとってどのようなものだったかを分析する瞬間をみんなで分かちあいました。

７月から新役員を迎えるにあたり、九州に帰ることになった教育担当のＫお兄さん。
体調管理のため、お休みに入られるＷお父さん。
会員担当からこれからは教育担当として日本橋を支え続けてくれるＭさん。
他のメンバーのサポートもしながら １年間の例会を休むことなく参加したＫ会長。
２年目の会計を担当してくださるＫさんに広報を１年務めてくださったＫさん。
１年間お疲れさまでした。

７月から新たな役員を迎えた新しい日本橋センチュリートーストマスターズがはじまります。
