■ 伝統と革新の町日本橋
Nihonbashi Century Toastmasters club is a bilingual (EN/JP) club based on Nihonbashi-ningyocho area. Since the foundation in 2009, the members have been working to improve our speaking skills. The member body consists of mainly the business persons from the neighbourhood with various back grounds in age, job and nationality.
日本橋センチュリートーストマスターズクラブは、日本橋人形町を拠点に活動するバイリンガル（日本語、英語）のスピーチクラブです。2009年の設立以来、近隣エリアの中堅ビジネスパーソンを中心に、年齢、性別、職業、国籍の多様なメンバーが集まってスピーチスキルを磨いています。
Nihonbashi Century Toastmasters Club was chartered in 2009 in a traditional downtown district. There are subway stations nearby (Suitengumae on Hanzomon Line, Ningyo-cho on Hibiya and Toei Asakusa Line). The area, being also a business district, still enjoys the charm of historical and cultural sites. The founder of this club had a hunch that a club in this area could attract a group of unique individuals, and it did! 日本橋センチュリートーストマスターズクラブは、2009年に伝統ある下町に誕生しました。地下鉄の駅（半蔵門線水天宮前駅、日比谷線、都営浅草線人形町駅）も近く、ビジネス街でありながら、歴史、文化的な場所も多いところです。クラブを立ち上げたメンバーは、この地域なら個性的な人たちが集まるだろうと考えました。
Our members are devoted once they are in a meeting (other times not!?), we laugh a lot together and the learning experience from each meeting is just great! We are thrilled to welcome new members to our club!
そして、そこに集まっている個性的なメンバーは、例会になると（他の時は違うのかな？）みんな一生懸命です。一緒によく笑い、毎回の例会から学ぶことはたくさんあります。そんな私たちの新しいメンバーになってくれる方、大歓迎です！
Our meetings are held on the second, fourth and fifth Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm in either of Ningyocho Kuminkan or Nihonbashi Kokaido (both 3min of walking distance from Suitengu-mae station Tokyo Metro Hanzomon line.) Each meeting is dedicated 100% in a single language. The second Thursdays are thrown in English, the fourth are in Japanese and the fifth are either of them depending on events. Even though language skills are not perfect, we enjoy challenging our abilities.
例会は、毎月第2、第4、第5木曜日の19:00～21:00に、主に人形町区民館または日本橋公会堂（いずれも半蔵門線水天宮駅から徒歩3分程度）で開催しています。第2木曜日は英語、第4木曜日は日本語、第5木曜日は英語または日本語、と例会によって使用言語を使い分けています。英語例会の日は、英語が得意な会員も、英語は苦手だけど好きだという会員も、みな頑張って、最初から最後まで進行も含め英語で例会をすすめます。
We value learning with enjoyment the most. The meetings are filled with humour and fun. Of course you can hear a lot of touching stories and inspiring speeches also! We have this unique program that members speak in a no-pressure atmosphere and help each other improving their skills by giving and receiving feedbacks. You can expand your people network as well by joining the dinner meet-ups (no prerequisite) held after the meetings.
私たちは、何よりも、楽しく学ぶことを大切にしています。例会はユーモアにあふれています。感動させるスピーチ、鼓舞するスピーチにもたくさん出会うことができます。そして、そのために会員相互で助け合う雰囲気があります。例会後には懇親会（任意参加）もあり、仲間づくりに役立っています。
