Meeting was well organized by TMOE YM san in his first role. Taking the different roles every time in meeting inspires us to develop how to communicate very much. “Inspire” was the word of the evening selected by DI san tonight. Good selection! Speakers try to use this word in speech, which is difficult, but becomes fun when we can take it!
Speech session: we had 4 speeches tonight.
1. “Good morning Carrie, I’m home Carrie” by MY san. This was story of daily life she experienced in front of her house. We found in her speech that Carrie was named for a spider! Speech was very fun, cheerful and comical in her designed story and actions. We enjoyed very much and she won the tonight’s best speaker!
2. “Mindfullness” by YF san. His speech is always something scientific which draw audience’s attention and interest. Difficult content was well arranged to deliver in short time. I wanted to know more about Mindfulness.
3. “Exploring for Essence of Tokyo” by NW san. This was a speech required to use visual aids, so he used PC & screen to explain Tokyo, which covered what we didn’t know1 ever. I really enjoyed the time and he also looked enjoying during speech.
4. “Virtual Boy!!” by NM san. This was the second “Boy” version after “Material Boy”. Contrast between real and virtual were well balanced in speech. He continues delivering speeches more than our expectation!
Evaluation session is very challenge for persons taking this role, but very helpful for speakers for next speech! We had 4 different type of evaluators including a guest from Australia under General Evaluator who organized session very professional way. ES san took the best evaluator award in very competitive evaluators!
Table topic session:
Persons randomly selected for the subject need to make a short speech in very short time, which is very difficult but exciting moment. ST san kept us enjoying during session as table topi master. DI san is always very strong in this session and took the best award again!
We welcomed one wonderful guest TQ san staring from today!
